CAF Presidents Letter - Spring 2010

April 1, 2010                                                                                          Dear Friends, The 2010 summer pool season is just around the corner!  We look forward to another exciting and fun filled season at CAFSC.  I would like to take a moment to bring everyone up to speed on pool news and important dates for the start of the season.    Your CAFSC officers for 2010 season are: President                      John Settle Vice President              Jeff Ringo  Treasurer                      Bob Mandigo Vice Treasurer              Jack Dunham Secretary                      Rick Keiser  As an owner of CAFSC, you are invited to participate in the semi-annual spring general membership meeting on April 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm.  This meeting will take place at Arrowhead Elementary School Cafeteria.  We invite you all to come out and meet your new officers to discuss our 2010 season.  Please flip this letter over and use the 2010 registration form or print your own from our website www.cafswim.com.  If you pay your membership dues in full by May 1, you will get three free guest passes. You may pay in person during our Open House Saturday May 22 from 11-2 PM or Sunday May 23 from 1-3 PM.  Open house is also a great time to register for swim lessons, join the swim team, play a game of sand volleyball or show a neighbor around the pool.  Dues can always be mailed to the pool at P.O. Box 62068, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.    If you are not a certificate holder, this is the year to think about enjoying the extra benefits that come with ownership.   The cost of a certificate pays for itself in 3 quick years through reduced annual dues.  Note a certificate of membership is not transferable or refundable.    Our website is full of information about current events.  Add it to your favorites and surf there often.  You will find pool forms, party reservation requests, swim lesson schedules, swim team information, special events calendars and you can even join our member’s forum to ask questions and provide suggestions.    I look forward to another exciting year at CAFSC!  John Settle CFSC President General Membership meeting Thursday April 15 @ 7 PM Open house Saturday May 22 from 11-2 & Sunday May 23 from 1-3 Pool opens Saturday May 29 at 11 AM Memorial Day Picnic  May 31 from 11 AM to 1 PM
